Distinctive French Quality and Craftsmanship

Since 1925, Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron has been produced in our flagship foundry in Fresnoy-le-Grand, France. Each piece is hand-crafted to perfection by no less than fifteen artisans, and no two pieces are alike as they are individually cast in single-use sand molds. Through the years, we have optimized our products for superior results, and continually innovate to make the process of cooking even better. We stand behind our quality design, superior materials and expert craftsmanship, and are proud to offer a limited lifetime warranty on all Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron products.

Perfected Design, Superior Performance

Our cast iron is renowned for its exceptional heat distribution and retention qualities that lock in flavor and keep dishes warm from stove to oven to table. Also, generations of expertise have enabled us to create the lightest weight cast iron by quart on the market in a variety of shapes and sizes for any kitchen task. Other thoughtful and innovative details include tight-fitting lids that are specially designed to circulate steam and return moisture back to the food, and built-in lid stabilizers to seal in flavor and make it easier to carry a pot to the table for serving.

Unrivaled Enamel Expertise

Le Creuset pioneered the world's first colorful enameled cast iron cookware. We finish each piece, both inside and out, with a porcelain enamel to make it more durable, versatile and easier to use and clean. All of our enameled cast iron cookware is ready to go right out of the box and requires no pre-seasoning, including our black satin enamel. The enamel finish is designed to also minimize sticking, and resists dulling, staining, chipping and cracking. Basically, you get the benefits of cooking with cast iron without the hassle of maintaining it.
