Pasta Aglia e Olio

Ingredients
(Servings: 2)
- Spaghetti - 160g
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic, roughly chopped
- 1 or 2 chili peppers
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 400-500 ml water
- Herbs (thyme): add to taste
Preparation
- Break spaghetti in half.
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, chilies, and spaghetti. Sauté the ingredients together using a spatula or tongs to prevent the spaghetti from sticking.
2. Once the garlic is fragrant, add water and salt. Reduce the heat to medium and let the spaghetti cook in boiling water.
3. If the water reduces and the spaghetti is still too firm, add about 3 extra tablespoons of water. Continue cooking until the spaghetti reaches the desired texture. Increase the heat to medium-high to allow any excess water to evaporate.
4. Sprinkle with herbs to taste.
